Hotel Restaurant Sokrates - Guttingen

Lovely location, spacious and clean rooms, attentive staff, delicious food, surrounded by beautiful nature, tranquil and quiet.

Nothing that I didn't like.

We spent a lovely Christmas at this hotel. the surrounding nature was beautiful and we enjoyed a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. the hotel's location near hiking trails and the lake made it a great spot for outdoor activities. the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We especially liked the delicious food served in the restaurant and the 24-hour tea station.

We did notice that the hotel had a strong religious grounding, which might not be suitable for everyone. the lack of a bar or restaurant for late arrivals was a bit inconvenient.

The view from my room was really nice and the hotel was located right by the lake. The breakfast that was included in the price was a plus and the staff, including a helpful receptionist, were kind and accommodating.

Nothing - everything was great!

Located by the serene lake, the hotel is set amidst picturesque surroundings. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with some offering a nice lake view. Bathrooms are stocked with clean towels and toiletries. the breakfast is good and there's a 24-hour tea station. Bikes can be parked indoors and staff are accommodating to guests' needs.

The atmosphere is quite soulless and lacks character.

The view from the room was just stunning and the breakfast was a plus. The staff was kind and helpful and always went above and beyond. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and offered great access to the water.

The atmosphere of the central dining area lacked any sort of character and added nothing to the overall ambience of the hotel. The limited food choices on offer meant we had to go elsewhere to eat.
